The central figure in any of our clinical encounters is
the patient. It is a matter of medical inetrest to
observe the interaction of the patient with a particular
illness or set of illnesses. The theme of this section of
our site is the human aspect of each patient, his or her
own history which ends up being the histories of
families, of communities, of ourselves. In these pages we
plan to share, with their permission, our history.

contienda de la clínica médica, es el enfermo. Sabemos
que gran parte del material técnico que nos ocupa en la
medicina tiene que ver con la manera o interacción que
se desenvuelve entre un efermo dado y la enfermedad o la
serie de enfermedades que aflijen al enfermo. La
temática de esta sección de nuestro sitio en el
internet es el aspecto humano del enfermo, su propia
historia íntima y personal. Estas historias las hemos
venido recopilando desde hace más de 20 años. Son
historias sí de los enfermos, pero van a encontrar que
tambien son las historias de sus familias, de sus
comunidades y de su gente. Estos son nuestros pacientes
haciendo historia.
